FAQ Generator

An FAQ section isn't a dumping ground for support questions — it's the last gatekeeper between a hesitant visitor and a purchase. The FAQ Generator writes covert objection-handling: every question is a real doubt, every answer resolves it without dodging.

What this skill does

A visitor who scrolls to the FAQ is high-intent. They're interested enough to look for answers to specific concerns. If they don't find their concern addressed, they leave. If they find a dismissive or vague answer ("we offer flexible options"), they lose trust. If they find a clear, specific, honest answer, they convert. The FAQ is often the last thing read before the purchase button — and most are written by support teams, not by anyone optimising for conversion.

This skill works in three layers. The genuine questions you actually receive from email and DMs. The hidden objections — trust, value, timing, risk, capability — that people think but don't ask out loud. And the positioning questions you want them to ask, the ones whose answers separate you from competitors. "How is this different from [obvious alternative]" is a positioning question every page needs and most omit.

Answer rules are non-negotiable. Direct response in the first sentence — no "great question!" preamble. Every answer doubles as a selling point through proof or specificity. Vague becomes specific ("$29, $79, or custom" beats "flexible options"). The concern behind the question gets acknowledged before the answer ("a lot of people ask this because they've been burned by [thing] before"). And one question every FAQ needs: "who is this NOT for?" Naming a real exclusion is the strongest trust signal on the page.

Ordering matters as much as content. Value and fit first (who is this for, who is it not for, what results). Then comparison and differentiation. Then practical details. Then pricing and risk — explicit refund policy, payment plans, what happens if it doesn't work. Then technical and logistics last. The first three categories handle the biggest buying barriers; burying them under shipping questions wastes the slot.

Output includes the FAQPage JSON-LD schema ready to paste into the <head> — because rich snippets on Google search results can double organic CTR — plus an objection map showing which answer handles which specific doubt, so the user can see the page's defensive coverage at a glance. Answers cap at 100 words. FAQs are scannable, not essays.

When this triggers

  • ·Your sales page has no FAQ and visitors keep emailing the same five questions
  • ·Your current FAQ is vague — 'we offer flexible pricing options' for the pricing question
  • ·You want to address objections people think but don't ask out loud
  • ·You need FAQPage schema for rich snippets on Google search results
  • ·You're launching and don't yet have real support data to mine

Example

Trigger

User sells a $497 freelance writing course. Says: 'Build me an FAQ — the page converts at 1.4% and the pricing section is where everyone drops off.'

Output

Q: Who is this course NOT for? A: It's not for established freelancers already earning $5k/mo. It's built for writers in the first 12 months who haven't yet landed a recurring client. If you've already cracked retainer work, you'll find half the content too basic. Q: Is $497 worth it when I can find free YouTube tutorials? A: If you have 80 hours to assemble a fragmented curriculum from 200 videos, free is the right answer. If you want the sequenced path that 340 students have used to land their first $2k client within 60 days, the course is built for that. Q: What if it doesn't work for me? A: 30-day no-questions refund. We've issued 11 over three years on 340 students — 3.2%. The bigger risk is buying and not doing the work, which we can't refund against.
